Timber Buyers

What is the minimum number of trees you’ll buy?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

We generally require a minimum of ten acres of timber to ensure that the harvest operation is both economically viable and environmentally sustainable. Harvesting timber on smaller plots can lead to higher per-acre costs and may not justify the investment in time and resources. Additionally, larger tracts of land allow us to implement best management practices more effectively, ensuring minimal impact on the environment and promoting the health and regeneration of the forest. However, there are exceptions; if you have a particularly valuable timber crop, such as an exceptional stand of walnut, we may consider properties smaller than ten acres. Contact us to discuss your specific situation, and we can determine the best approach for your timber.
